AW2 Simplified Chinese Localization Fix
Some corrections to the Simplified Chinese translation. Mainly, some common words have been changed to the first generation version, and some translation errors have been corrected. It may/won’t be updated in the future as it’s impossible to look past it line by line.
Huiluo Town→Liangpu Town
Night Spring → Night Spring
Thornton → Thornton
Rose → Rose
Bari → Bari
Alice→Alice
The Old Gods of Asgard → The Old Gods of Asgard
Balance kills the demon→Balance kills the demon
Doorman→Cleaner
August 15 → 15/08
[Button Settings] Return→Back
Origin → Enlightenment (The three stages of the hero’s journey are departure – enlightenment – return. The translation of return is not a big problem, but the origin is a bit inexplicable)
and individual translation errors in one-week memory
Ahti was not changed to Ati because I discovered that he is the water god in Finnish mythology, and the Chinese Wiki page translated it as Ahti.
The Elk Festival was not changed to the Reindeer Festival because I still don’t know what kind of deer are in Liangpu Town. I should choose the correct translation of the breed.
There are strangely many extra lines of fields in the Chinese text that do not exist in the English text, and the machine translation is incomplete.
Installation: Unzip the file and overwrite it to \Epic\AlanWake2\data_pack2\pc. Backup is recommended.
