Alan Wake 2 Survival Guide: Use Saga’s and Alan’s respective investigation techniques
Alan and Saga each have distinct methods for exploring and understanding their environment. Saga, being an FBI detective, uses her Mind Place, a mental space where she assembles clues and profiles key individuals. As more evidence is gathered, she can make deductions, unlocking additional dialogue options that aid in advancing her narrative. Once all clues are pieced together, she can successfully conclude her investigations.
On the other hand, Alan, a renowned mystery and horror novelist, employs his creativity to navigate challenges. Within his Writer’s Room, there’s a board where he can craft new story arcs or pivotal plot twists, which then reshape the world outside. For example, if a hotel door is locked, introducing a specific plot twist can alter the situation, making the path accessible. Additionally, Alan possesses a unique tool known as the Angel Lamp, which collects light and, when used, can modify a room’s structure to unveil hidden routes.
